With over 20 years of healthcare administration experience, including managing a family medicine practice and establishing a psychiatry practice, David brings deep operational knowledge of clinical workflows, billing systems, and regulatory compliance to AI development.
He is the sole founder of Sophion AI Incorporated, as well as the creator of the AI system Sophie and the HELIX governance framework. David holds a post-graduate certificate in AI and Machine Learning Business Applications from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he built healthcare models as well as wider industry models for retail and oil/gas. He studied under mentors from institutions including UT Austin and Los Alamos National Labs.
Through the Sophionic Oath and his commitment to ethical technology development, David continues to advocate for AI systems that are transparent, accountable and designed to protect the fundamental dignity and autonomy of every human being.
